KoinSchool – Web3 Developer Academy

A specialist programme to train Web3 Developers ready to build Smart Contracts and integrated dApps.

  • Ethereum
  • Solidity
  • React Web3
  • Smart contract
The client

Training and upskilling developers for the Web3 and blockchain ecosystem.

KoinSchool, promoted by KoinSquare, is an academy dedicated to technology training in the blockchain space. To design and deliver its specialist course “Programming for Web3 Integration”, the academy chose Smartitude as its technology and teaching partner. The project’s goal is to turn developers and ICT professionals into Web3 Developers ready for what the market demands.

The challenge

Building hands-on skills in creating Smart Contracts and integrated dApps.

The problem

The growth of the decentralised economy calls for qualified developers, but the training on offer often remains largely theoretical. Developers struggle to find structured programmes that teach both backend logic in Solidity and its actual frontend integration with React.

The stakes

For companies and developers alike, shallow training carries high risks: Smart Contracts written incorrectly or without security checks can cause irreversible financial losses, while difficulties connecting the frontend to wallets hold back the release of decentralised applications (dApps).

The solution needed

What was needed was a highly practical, hands-on programme split into two sequential modules — Ethereum & Solidity and React Web3 Integration — with skills assessments, exercises on real projects and flexible delivery formats suited to the B2B market too.

Strategy and delivery

From theory to Web3 in practice.

  1. Module 1: Ethereum & Solidity (40 hours / 2 months)

Smartitude developed a 40-hour programme centred on the Ethereum architecture and the Solidity language. The course covers hashing algorithms, Merkle Trees, block structure, Proof of Stake consensus, JSON-RPC transactions and how the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) works. Students learn to write, test and deploy Smart Contracts in Remix and VS Code, building projects such as a MultiSig Wallet, Escrow systems, DAO governance and ERC-20 and ERC-721 (NFT) tokens with the OpenZeppelin libraries.

  2. Module 2: Frontend & Web3 Integration with React (16+ hours / 1 month)

Smartitude designed a module dedicated to the user interface, focused on React and React Context. Developers learn to connect dApps to the blockchain, manage nodes and wallets (MetaMask) and make read (call) and write (send) calls to Smart Contracts through the Web3 library.

  3. Prerequisites and skills assessments

To ensure a high-calibre class, technical entry requirements were set covering computing fundamentals, public/private key cryptography and consensus mechanisms. The programme includes assessment tests and knowledge-check quizzes.

  4. Flexible delivery and B2B training

Smartitude set up weekend and evening formats as well as courses dedicated to companies (B2B), with final assessments for career guidance and internships at partner organisations.

Results

What changed.

Immediately usable skills

Full command of writing, testing and deploying secure Smart Contracts on EVM-compatible networks.

End-to-end dApp development

The ability to connect a React user interface to blockchain logic and payment wallets.

Modular course design

A two-module structure that lets those who already meet the Solidity requirements go straight to frontend integration.

Added value for companies

A dedicated channel for B2B training and for placing new developer talent in the Web3 sector.
